Give a reason
A claim becomes useful when someone can examine what supports it. Bring an example, explain the connection, and make room for questions.
Answer the real point
Listen closely enough to describe the other side fairly. A good reply deals with their strongest argument, even when it makes your case harder.
Leave room for a reply
Challenge ideas with care for the people making them. Explain a disagreement, acknowledge a fair point, and give feedback someone can use.
