Participants will take part in up to six structured debate rounds during this three hour session. Every attendee may choose to debate solo or as part of a two person team. Spectators and non competitors are encouraged to join because they help judge and score each round using simple and fair criteria. Everyone in the room helps shape the content of the night. Attendees submit possible debate topics that range from political theory to philosophy to ethics to culture. The room then votes on which topics to use for each round. The atmosphere is energetic and focused. Debaters rotate partners and opponents so that each round brings a new style and a new challenge.
