Transgender individuals deserve for their gender identity to be respected, and trans youth should get access to appropriate gender affirming care.
Transgender people and transgender youth especially are often argued as victims of manipulation or outright called predators. Some people do not believe that gender is something you can choose, and believe young trans people should not be allowed to change any aspect of their gender expression.
