If you live in Mesa or anywhere in the Phoenix–Mesa–Chandler area and you've ever wanted a place to think out loud, this is it. The Mesa Debate Club hosts structured 1v1 to 5v5 debates rooted in downtown Mesa and Riverview and East Valley families and aerospace-town ambition. Free to join. Built for thoughtful people who happen to disagree.
Housing

Transit

Economy
Supporters of public funding point to jobs, visitors and civic pride. Opponents ask why taxpayers should pay for a building whose profits go to an owner.

Civic life
Car-free streets could bring people, events and business into the center. Shop owners and drivers worry about access, deliveries and parking.
