Garett Jones is a professor of economics at George Mason University. His research spans macroeconomics, monetary economics, and economic growth. He is the author of 10% Less Democracy, Hive Mind, and The Culture Transplant.
He previously served as an economic policy adviser to Senator Orrin Hatch and a staff economist for the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress. He earned his Ph.D. in economics at the University of California, San Diego.
