Iain Lampert’s communication training for professionals: individual online coaching, a guided 30-day speaking course and tailored workshops for teams.

About Authentalk

Authentalk applies speaking practice and feedback to the moments professionals need to handle well: presentations, business pitches, interviews, meetings and questions under pressure. Founder Dr. Iain Lampert draws on competitive speaking, trial advocacy and executive education to teach message structure, storytelling and delivery.

Individuals can choose a 30-day online program or a month of personalized weekly coaching. The course combines short lessons, live workshops and feedback on recorded speeches. Its final weekly speeches must be delivered to a real, in-person audience, even though the coaching happens online.

Organizations can arrange training for technical teams, leadership cohorts or client-facing staff. Engagements include diagnosis, instruction, realistic simulations and continued feedback, with virtual, in-person or hybrid delivery agreed directly. Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Authentalk offers online coaching and arranges team training directly with each organization.

Lampert also serves as COO of ModernBrain and on SuperDebate’s advisory board. The two companies have different audiences: Authentalk focuses on professionals, while ModernBrain teaches student speech, debate and related programs.

Practice the conversations that carry consequences

Training uses the situations participants actually face: leadership updates, technical explanations, client discussions and questions without a script. The team identifies the communication task, practices it under pressure and gives feedback for the next attempt.

Three speaking tasks, one month of guided practice

The individual program moves through spontaneous speaking, a business presentation and a TED-style talk. Short lessons and delivery drills build toward recorded weekly performances, with feedback and a final week focused on adapting to the audience.
