About California National Debate Institute
CNDI teaches debate through skills practice, instruction and judged practice rounds. Its published summer 2027 schedule includes programs for experienced competitors and younger students new to debate.
The introductory middle-school camp is a day program, while the three-week policy session offers commuter and residential options. These are different registrations with different schedules and prices. A non-refundable application deposit is part of the enrollment process; read the payment and refund terms before applying.

Camps
Three-week policy debate camp
A June 20–July 10, 2027 program for school students studying competitive policy debate.
Eligibility: Check grade eligibility, residential requirements and placement. A $300 non-refundable deposit is due with application.
Published fees: $3,600 residential or $2,400 commuter for the three-week policy session; confirm deposit and payment terms.
Published session: June 20, 2027 – July 10, 2027. Confirm enrollment with the provider.
Camps
Intro to debate / middle-school day camp
The June 21–25, 2027 day camp teaches arguments, debate fundamentals and public speaking to younger beginners.
Eligibility: Designed primarily for younger students with no or limited experience.
Published fees: $600 for the one-week commuter day program.
Published session: June 21, 2027 – June 25, 2027. Confirm enrollment with the provider.
