CIC Theater

Chicago longform improv training organized into five levels, with small classes and an entry route for experienced improvisers.
About CIC Theater
CIC’s training program develops longform improvisation through a sequence of five eight-week levels. Exercises and scene work focus on listening, making choices and building an ensemble rather than preparing a scripted presentation. Classes are capped at 16 participants.
New students normally begin at the first level. Experienced improvisers may qualify for a later entry point. CIC has moved to a new space on North Western Avenue; confirm the location of your particular class when arranging enrollment.
