How the program debates

Colgate Debate Society competes in British Parliamentary debate on the North American circuit and at international university tournaments. Debaters prepare for a new motion without outside sources, then argue and rebut in teams of two. Colgate’s 2024 team feature describes novice and experienced members training together and hosting the annual Colgate Open.
