How the program debates

DBU Debate trains novice and experienced competitors through regular practice and regional and national tournaments. The university says accepted team members receive funded tournament travel, fees, meals and lodging. Applicants submit a team application and two recommendations; experienced applicants also submit a forensics résumé and all applicants complete an interview. The team competed at the 2026 IPDA National Championship.
