About The Groundlings School
The school teaches improvisation through exercises, scene work and a structured progression. Its introductory track is designed for actors and non-actors, while Basic Improv begins a separate core track.
Start with a one-day introduction or Workshop A if you want to try the approach without an audition. Entry into Basic Improv requires a free placement audition; advancement into later levels also has requirements. Choose the actual class listing for delivery, meeting times and current enrollment.
