The Home Comedy Theater

Chicago longform improv classes with a five-level curriculum, weekly scene work and an end-of-term performance.
About The Home Comedy Theater
The Home Comedy Theater teaches improvisation through a structured progression from beginning scene work to more developed longform performance. A level consists of seven three-hour meetings, with typical classes of 10–14 people.
Level 1 has no prerequisites. Later levels develop characters, ensemble work and scenes, with placement routes for some students trained elsewhere. The current autumn term has already begun; ask about the next intake rather than assuming a listed class accepts new students mid-course.
