How the program debates

Lewis & Clark Speech and Debate competes in individual speaking events, NFA Lincoln–Douglas, British Parliamentary and IPDA debate. The FAQ welcomes full-time undergraduates in good academic standing and says no previous experience is needed. The team combines individualized coaching with national and regional travel, and its official joining page gives prospective students an inquiry form and current students a direct route to the Director of Speech and Debate. The program also supports campus and community public forums, including outreach at the Oregon State Penitentiary. At the completed October 2026 Clark and Rae Peters Invitational, Lewis & Clark competed in IPDA.
