Chicago comedy training, including an advanced class that uses improv techniques to develop spontaneous stand-up performance.

About The Lincoln Lodge

The Lincoln Lodge teaches comedy writing and performance at its Milwaukee Avenue venue. Its beginner programs introduce material development and performing for an audience, while continuing classes help established comedians develop their craft.

Stand-up on the Spot applies improvisation techniques to stand-up, with attention to being present during a set and generating material. It is an advanced class with prior experience required. Beginner students can instead review the Stand-Up Seminary or Fem Com courses.
