How the program debates

Mt. San Antonio College’s Speech and Debate Team competes in debate, speech and readers theater, with national success at both Phi Rho Pi and the American Forensics Association. At the completed April 2026 Phi Rho Pi tournament, Mt. SAC won the overall national sweepstakes for the third consecutive year, collected 44 awards and placed fourth in the large-school debate division.
