How the program debates

The University Park Society brings Penn State students together for speech and debate competition. Its students competed in parliamentary debate at the Pennsylvania Forensic Association state championships in February 2026, where Society members reached the elimination rounds. The group’s current growth follows the earlier disbanding of Penn State’s previous program.

Students can use Penn State’s official organization profile to contact the Society and learn how to join.
