SuperDebate · Bridgeport, CT
Built on southwest-CT civics and Long-Island-Sound port identity, the Bridgeport Debate Club is for the kind of person who actually wants to be persuaded — or earn the right to persuade. Short formats. Real moderation. No shouting. Members come from across Bridgeport–Stamford–Norwalk to test arguments and build the muscle of changing your mind.
Check the event format and entry requirements before your first visit.

Your club community
Meet the people behind the arguments. The club brings people together to discuss ideas, practice disagreeing thoughtfully, and keep the conversation going between events.
Make yourself at home
Watch the club calendar for upcoming gatherings. Members can also suggest an event they would like to attend.
Check eligibility and age requirements, especially for campus groups. Ask the host whether the event welcomes listeners, questions or volunteer speakers.
Club membership and event admission are separate. Check each event for RSVP or ticket requirements.
This club is looking for its founding leader
Someone gets to be the reason Bridgeport argues in person. Ambassadors run the room, and we handle the format, topics, and tools.
